      About This Experiment

What Click With The World Is

Click With The World is a simple experiment: one button, one shared number, and anyone, anywhere, who decides to tap it. There's no login, no app to download, and no score to chase beyond the number itself — the site exists purely because people choose to add to the total. Every visitor, on every device, sees the exact same number update in real time, whether they're the one clicking or just watching it grow. You can even put the counter on your own site through the embed widget, and clicks made there count toward the very same total.

      How The Global Counter Works

The mechanics are deliberately simple. Each tap of the CLICK button adds exactly one to a single shared total, kept in a live database that every visitor's browser reads from directly. The number on screen isn't a simulation, a cached figure, or an estimate — it's the real total, refreshed the moment any click lands anywhere in the world, from anyone, on any device. A "Clicks Today" count resets at midnight UTC, so you can see how active the counter has been since the day began.

      Milestones and the Country Leaderboard

As the total climbs, it passes round-number milestones — 1,000, 10,000, 1,000,000, and beyond — each one recorded on the Milestones page along with the date it was first reached, so you can see exactly when the world crossed that line. Every click is also attributed to the country it came from, building a live leaderboard of which countries have clicked the most. Nobody's individual activity is tracked or named anywhere; only country-level totals, visible to everyone who visits.
